As part of the International Making Cities Livable (IMCL) conference series, this event will take place in beautiful Cortona, Italy, 1-5 October 2024, to explore the role of heritage in existing cities, towns and suburbs, including tangible and intangible heritage, and new and regenerated forms of heritage.

Topics will include the value of heritage buildings, new buildings and urbanism following heritage patterns, regional economies and tourism, markets and public spaces, slow cities and slow food, innovations in agriculture, land use, transport, walkability, climate resilience, urban regeneration, and sustainable economic development.
