Nicolas Regamey earned his multimedia operator diploma in 2002 and his Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a graphic designer in 2004. His passion for traditional typography, using lead type, led him to train with Eraldo Coltamai in Lausanne and Jean-Renaud Dagon in Vevey. A fervent advocate for his craft, he is vice-president of the Cardboard Ticket Association, a member of the Association of True Friends of Cadratin, and of the Espace Gutenberg in Yvonand. Opened in 2005 at the foot of Lausanne Cathedral, Nicolas Regamey’s workshop is a place that is both technical and poetic, a world inhabited by machines dating from the last century, each with its own nickname. Nicolas Regamey enjoys talking about his work while fulfilling his orders for business cards, stationery, announcements, posters, and more, all with a uniquely contemporary yet vintage charm.

Ardent défenseur de son métier, il est vice-président de l’Association du billet en carton, membre de l’Association des vrais amis du Cadratin et de l’Espace Gutenberg à Yvonand. Ouvert en 2005 au pied de la cathédrale de Lausanne, l’atelier de Nicolas Regamey est un lieu à la fois technique et poétique, un univers habité de machines datant du siècle passé, chacune ayant son petit nom. Nicolas Regamey aime parler de son métier tout en honorant ses commandes de cartes de visite, papiers à lettres, faire-part, affiches, etc. au charme singulièrement contemporain et suranné.
