Sandra Häuptli lives and works as an independent ceramic artist in Basel, CH. She studied ceramics, art and product design in Switzerland and Germany. Her motivation to learn new techniques guided her way to craftsmen in Andalusia and China. Since 16 years she gives courses in ceramics in her studio in Basel. She was expert for the final diploma in ceramics at the Ecole d’arts appliqués in Vevey and board member at swissceramics for several years. She organized an exchange project with Chinese artist and worked as a guide in the exhibition “abgedreht” at the “Völkerkunde Museum” in Zurich CH.
