Seda & Companhia, is a brand of hand embroidery clothing, bags and fashion accessories, which combines the tradition of Castelo Branco Embroidery, with the contemporary design of their pieces.

The pieces, are born by the hands of Catarina Tudella, an artisan who counts with more than 30 years of experience.

All the productive process is manual, preserving the ancient ways of working this art.

The use of Castelo Branco Embroidery as inspiration, it’s because of its strong and singular image, its characteristic decorative grammar and with the materials applied. The combination of these elements make this embroidery unique and easily distinguishable from other Portuguese embroideries. The option for this embroidery, is also related with the will to revitalize and re-interpret it, in everyday objects, beyond their traditional applications.

Linen is the base of each piece, on which the silk embroidery is executed.

The collections are produced in limited quantities, which makes them exclusive.

The love put into the construction of each piece is the mark of a project, that intends to be much more than a brand, but a way of getting known this technique as a form of an artistic expression.
