My name is Robert Jehn-Olszewski, together with my wife Monika Jehn-Olszewska we run our family company “Jehn Ceramika” continuously since 1993.

We live in Nowa Iwiczna located near the capital city of Warsaw in Poland. Ceramics, handicraft, and most importantly pottery are our passion and work. Our products are inspired by the traditional folk ceramics (we are members of the Association of Folk Artists), but we also try to connect them with the modern design. We are graduates of the chemistry department of the Warsaw University of Technology.

Our education helps us from the technical side, as we prepare the clay and glazes ourselves. On a daily basis, we use electrical potter wheel and fire our products in the electrical kiln. Among our works, you can find glazed pottery pieces for the everyday use and decorative forms – glazed birds.

In our work, we want to develop and enrich the artistic values of the tradition. We always try to find new inspirations and shapes in order to create something original. We are grateful that we can do pottery for a living and that this work is just simply rewarding. Hopefully, you will like the results of our efforts.
