Carving Medieval Designs in Wood

Come and learn how to carve medieval designs in oak with a skilled and experienced professional woodcarver and teacher. Perhaps a dragon or a green man, green woman or even a green animal!

Alistair Park will guide you through the process of carving in wood using traditional gouges and chisels.

This course is suitable for any skill level, from absolute beginners to those with some experience. All tools and a block of oak measuring 200 x 170 x 20mm (roughly 7.75 x 6.75 in x 0.75 inches) will be supplied, or feel free to bring your own special piece of timber if you prefer.
