The theme ‘The Chemistry of Light: Photosynthesis’ inspired 38 artists aged 50+ for this exhibition.
Photosynthesis is the wondrous process by which plants store solar energy as sugars and produce oxygen — essential for all life around us.
Start the exhibition at the Castle and discover how this natural mechanism works. Then head out into the grounds. Let yourself be surprised by the artworks, harmoniously interwoven with flowers, plants, and trees. In this way, photosynthesis becomes tangible, creating a fascinating dialogue between art and science.
You will find a title plaque at every artwork. Scan the QR code to find out why and how the artwork was created.

Het thema ‘De Chemie van Licht: fotosynthese’ inspireerde 38 kunstenaars 50+ voor deze expo.
Fotosynthese is het wonderlijke proces waarmee planten zonne-energie opslaan als suikers en zuurstof produceren – onmisbaar voor al het leven om ons heen.
Start de expo in het Kasteel en ontdek hoe dit natuurlijk mechanisme werkt. Trek daarna het domein in. Laat je verrassen door de kunstwerken, harmonieus verweven met bloemen, planten en bomen. Zo wordt fotosynthese tastbaar en ontstaat een boeiende dialoog tussen kunst en wetenschap.
Bij elk kunstwerk vind je een titelbordje. Scan de QR-code en kom te weten waarom en hoe het kunstwerk is gemaakt.
