The 2026 ENCATC Congress will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026, in Nice, France. Organised in partnership with Université Côte d’Azur, this year’s edition brings together cultural and creative professionals, researchers, educators, and policymakers at a time when the role and status of artists are being redefined.
Under the theme “Artists and Cultural & Creative Professionals at the Centre: Rethinking Work, Policy, and Cultural Ecosystems,” the congress will explore how to ensure fair recognition, sustainable careers, and more inclusive cultural environments. It will offer a global platform to discuss how we can place artists and cultural professionals truly at the centre of our cultural ecosystems.
Through inspiring keynote speeches, interactive sessions, and cross-sector dialogue, participants will exchange ideas, share practices, and build together new collaborations and date driven cultural policies.
