Architectura Picta International Festival programme is structured as a combined theoretical and practical pathway, integrating academic training with hands-on artistic experimentation.
The Festival days are organized into two daily sessions of four hours each, with a lunch break. Each session focuses on a specific theme, explored both from a theoretical perspective—through brief lectures by instructors and researchers—and from a practical standpoint, through the learning and application of decorative painting techniques characteristic of architectura picta.
This approach enables participants to develop an in-depth understanding of the principles of illusionary perspective, also through the study of historical treatises and the use of modern integrated digital surveying techniques.
