Imagined by Wallonie Design and supported by the SofinaBoël Fund, the Duos en Résonances project aims to bring together craft artisans and designers to develop new reflections on know-how, techniques, materials, and uses.
This project is therefore intended for craft artisans and designers based in Belgium who wish to collaborate in an experimental and collaborative approach.
In 2025, 5 craft artisans and 5 designers will be selected through a call for applications. 5 duos will then be formed by the Selection Committee.
Over six months, they will collaborate intermittently (while respecting each participant’s professional commitments) on the development of a joint project or shared line of inquiry.
The goal is not specifically to produce a finished, marketable product, but rather to explore materials and techniques. This project highlights the sharing of experiences, openness to new perspectives, and experimentation, all with the aim of advancing each participant’s profession and skills.
