The New European Bauhaus Prizes celebrate innovative projects and ideas that reflect NEB values of sustainability, inclusivity, and beauty. In its fifth edition, the competition will award prizes across four categories that mirror the thematic axes of transformation of the NEB: reconnecting with nature, regaining a sense of belonging, prioritizing the places and people most in need, and fostering a circular industrial ecosystem.
A total of 22 winners and finalists will be recognized in two strands: “New European Bauhaus Champions” for existing projects and “New European Bauhaus Rising Stars” for concepts by young talents under 30 years old. Additionally, four special “NEB Affordable Housing” awards will be given to projects offering sustainable, inclusive, and affordable housing solutions.
Awardees will receive from EUR 10,000 to EUR 30,000, plus a communication package from the European Commission. Applications must be submitted through the specified platform, and inquiries can be sent to the functional mailbox starting January 14, 2025.
