Atelier Ceramiche Gori was founded in 2009 in Castelfiorentino, in the center of Tuscany between Siena, Pisa and Florence. In 2014 we opened a shop in San Gimignano. We collect such a knowledge and a secular culture, which is rooted in places of excellence of Italian ceramic art: Montelupo Fiorentino, Sesto Fiorentino, Impruneta. L’Atelier Ceramics Gori is the result of the meeting of two craftsmen: Riccardo Gori and Silvia Ferraro. Riccardo Gori comes from a long experience grown in many fields of ’ceramic art: the construction and design of ceramic stoves, shaping of pots on the wheel, kilns building and glazes for porcelain and stoneware. Silvia Ferraro has no specific knowledge of ceramics. For this reason, out of stereotypes, she contributed with her sensitivity and capacity for innovation to explore new avenues.Especially one that has led our company to invent a line, absolutely new, of porcelain jewelry with crystalline glazes.
