« I create original tapestries and handmade carpets. I preserve and develop the best Ukrainian traditions of carpet weaving and tapestry art. I use natural wool yarn, cotton and other fibers and  create my works on a traditional vertical wooden loom. A special comb is used for sealing.

I was born into a family of artists and craftsmen. I loved it since childhood.

I started weaving from from early childhood and learned in the family business but also through formal education and another workshops.

It takes at least one year to master the minimum skills but It takes many years to hone your skills and reach a high level. This profession requires full dedication and a lot of patience. »

Olha is giving classes in her own workshop and also teaches to students at the university.
