The 17th edition of the National Craft Awards has selected 15 finalists from 80 applications representing various regions and sectors such as ceramics, jewelry, textiles, and wood. Organized by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism through EOI and Fundesarte, the awards aim to promote innovation, design, and competitiveness in the craft sector.
Notable finalists include Miguel Ángel Torres Ferreras, a master potter from Córdoba, and projects such as “Códigos del alma” by Aitor Martínez López. Innovative initiatives, like the Maleza Hatmakers brand, and outstanding promotional efforts, such as the “Craftsmanship with A for Andalucía” exhibition by the Andalusian government, are also highlighted.
