La Journée de l’Artisan is a national event that aims to highlight the skills and talent of Belgium’s artisans. This day offers the general public the opportunity to freely discover the work of artisans in the field and to explore behind the scenes through demonstrations, activities, guided tours, and more.
The event is open only to artisans who have received official recognition. This recognition confirms the authentic nature of the artisan’s activity, its manual aspect, and the craftsmanship involved. Nearly 2,300 Belgian artisans have obtained this recognition. You can easily identify them thanks to the “Certified Craftsmanship” logo.
