Hispania Nostra Awards for Best Practices

Hispania Nostra, in collaboration with the Santander Bank Foundation, announces the Hispania Nostra Awards for Best Practices to encourage and recognize exemplary interventions in the field of Spain’s Cultural Heritage.

Since 2011, these awards have aimed to support, promote, and highlight projects that enhance heritage, serving as exemplary references for the future. Best Practices are defined as those that offer creative and sustainable solutions, aligned with the UNESCO criteria of innovation, effectiveness, sustainability, exemplary nature, and transferability.

The awards are divided into three categories:

  1. Intervention in Territory or Landscape
  2. Conservation of Heritage as a Factor for Economic and Social Development
  3. Signage and Promotion of Cultural and Natural Heritage

The deadline for submitting applications is April 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Winners will receive a bronze plaque and recognition for their contribution to the preservation and enhancement of Spain’s cultural and natural heritage.
