I am Isabelle Gautherot – a largely self-taught ceramicist specialising in ceramic art.
A biologist by education and an artist at heart, I have always been fascinated by Trees. Naturally, Trees became central to my work when my hands first delved into clay. I create a world of ‘Art.borescences’ – from ‘tree structures’ in French – where Earth Comes to Life. My artistic universe is meant as a tribute to Nature and its Living Beauty, inviting us to protect and cherish it.
Positioning themselves at the top of the living world, humans have gradually become detached from Nature, which is however so vital to their existence. Through my art, I aim to reconnect us with the Beauty of Life. By bringing Nature into our homes, Art.borescences invites us to rediscover the symbiosis with the living world around us. Delicately sculpted and handcrafted, my unique pieces tell an organic story that unfolds in harmonious collections. Creating a distinctive decor that exudes serenity, they are designed to transform space into an inspiring sanctuary, a source of Emotion and Wonder, inviting us to Feel Well and to cultivate our Inner Nature.
Each of my sculptures displays a range of unique structures, inspired by Nature. There are always tree-like structures: branches, roots, ramifications of all kinds. There are also textures: bark, mosses, lichens, and other filaments. I patiently shape all these structures and textures with clay, using no other material than the Earth, gradually letting the organic emerge from within the mineral.

Biologiste de formation et artiste de sensibilité, j’ai depuis toujours été fascinée par les Arbres. C’est donc tout naturellement que l’univers des Arbres s’est imposé à moi lorsque j’ai plongé mes mains dans la Terre. Avec mes créations, je construis un monde d’Art.borescences où la Terre prend Vie. Mon univers artistique se veut un hommage à la Nature et à sa Beauté Vivante, invitant à les préserver.
Se plaçant à la cime du monde Vivant, l’être humain s’est peu à peu détaché de la Nature – pourtant essentielle à son existence. À travers mon art, je souhaite nous reconnecter à la Beauté du Vivant. Faisant entrer la Nature dans nos Intérieurs, Art.borescences nous invite à redécouvrir la Symbiose avec le Vivant qui nous entoure. Sculptées et façonnées avec délicatesse, mes pièces uniques partagent une histoire organique qui se décline en collections harmonieuses. Créant un décor atypique qui respire la sérénité, elles ont pour vocation de métamorphoser l’espace en sanctuaire-refuge inspirant – source d’Émotion et d’Émerveillement invitant à Être Bien et à cultiver sa Nature Intérieure.
Chacune de mes sculptures arbore un éventail de structures uniques, inspirées par la Nature. Il y a toujours des arborescences : branches, racines, ramifications en tous genres. Il y a aussi des textures : écorce, mousses, lichens et autres filaments. Toutes ces structures, ces textures, je les façonne avec l’argile, patiemment, sans autre matériau que la Terre, faisant naître peu à peu l’organique du minéral.

Bióloga de formación y artista por vocación, siempre me han fascinado los árboles. Por ello, fue natural que el mundo arbóreo se presentara ante mí cuando empecé a trabajar con arcilla. Con mis creaciones, construyo un universo de Art.borescences donde la Tierra cobra vida. Mi mundo artístico pretende ser un homenaje a la Naturaleza y su Belleza Viva, invitándonos a preservarla.
Al situarnos en la cima del mundo vivo, la humanidad se ha ido distanciando gradualmente de la Naturaleza, a pesar de que es esencial para nuestra existencia. A través de mi arte, deseo reconectarnos con la Belleza de la Vida. Al traer la Naturaleza a nuestros hogares, Art.borescences nos invita a redescubrir la simbiosis con el mundo vivo que nos rodea. Esculpidas y moldeadas con delicadeza, mis piezas únicas comparten una historia orgánica que se despliega en colecciones armoniosas. Creando una decoración atípica que irradia serenidad, buscan transformar el espacio en un santuario-refugio inspirador, una fuente de emoción y asombro, que nos invita a sentirnos bien y a cultivar nuestra naturaleza interior.
Cada escultura exhibe una gama de estructuras únicas, inspiradas en la naturaleza. Siempre hay arborescencias: ramas, raíces, ramificaciones de todo tipo. También hay texturas: corteza, musgos, líquenes y otros filamentos. Todas estas estructuras, estas texturas, las moldeo con arcilla, pacientemente, con ningún otro material que la Tierra, extrayendo gradualmente lo orgánico de lo mineral.

Biologa di formazione e artista per vocazione, sono sempre stata affascinata dagli alberi. È stato quindi naturale che il mondo degli alberi si presentasse a me quando ho iniziato a lavorare con l’argilla. Con le mie creazioni, costruisco un universo di Art.borescences dove la Terra prende vita. Il mio mondo artistico vuole essere un omaggio alla Natura e alla sua Bellezza Vivente, un invito a preservarle.
Ponendoci al vertice del mondo vivente, l’umanità si è gradualmente allontanata dalla Natura, eppure essa è essenziale per la nostra esistenza. Attraverso la mia arte, desidero riconnetterci con la Bellezza della Vita. Portando la Natura nelle nostre case, Art.borescences ci invita a riscoprire la simbiosi con il mondo vivente che ci circonda. Scolpite e modellate con delicatezza, le mie opere uniche condividono una storia organica che si dispiega in armoniose collezioni. Creando un arredamento atipico che emana serenità, mirano a trasformare lo spazio in un santuario-rifugio ispiratore, una fonte di emozioni e meraviglia, che ci invita a sentirci bene e a coltivare la nostra natura interiore.
Ogni scultura presenta una gamma di strutture uniche, ispirate alla natura. Sono sempre presenti arboree: rami, radici, ramificazioni di ogni tipo. Ci sono anche texture: corteccia, muschi, licheni e altri filamenti. Tutte queste strutture, queste texture, le modello con l’argilla, con pazienza, utilizzando solo la Terra, facendo emergere gradualmente l’organico dal minerale.
