Workshop ASBL was founded in 2015 in La Hulpe by the artisan couple Thu-Van Nguyen and Thom Lescrainier.
Its mission is to promote craftsmanship and the arts and crafts sector through a range of activities, including exhibitions, training and knowledge transmission, event organisation, resource sharing, and the development of professional networks.
Since its creation, the association has organised exhibitions, training courses, creative workshops and events to support collective initiatives that contribute to a local, ethical and sustainable economic, cultural and social model.
Made up primarily of artists and craftspeople, the association organised three editions of the Journées du Fait Main (Handmade Days) in La Hulpe, which later evolved into the Festival of Crafts and Creation, held for two editions until 2020.
Today, the association continues to promote craftsmanship and the arts and crafts sector through courses, workshops, training activities and networking initiatives.
Since 2024, Workshop ASBL has coordinated the annual Dolce Manufactura Arts and Crafts Fair, held at the Dolce Resort La Hulpe.
