2-year course: CAP in glass crafts and techniques (stained glass)
From training to applied research, Cerfav is the best guarantee for workshops and for the apprentices themselves. Training objectives
-Master the technical gestures.
-Understand the rules of the art and the basics of glass technology.
-Discover the main historical and contemporary artistic trends.
-Learn to work as part of a team.
Targeted activities :
The stained glass craftsman works from a drawing or model to produce decorative or figurative compositions: preparing the work (model, cardboard, layout, sizing), colouring the glass, cutting, setting in lead or crimping, soldering. They also help to install the stained glass on site. His technological, professional and artistic knowledge enables him to come up with innovative ideas.
