Conques Summer School of Vernacural Architecture 2026

The program of the Conques Summer School of Vernacular Architecture 2026 offers an intensive course combining theoretical lectures, drawing exercises, and craft workshops, with the aim of deepening the understanding of traditional architecture principles.

Activities include guided tours and lectures on Romanesque and vernacular architecture, alongside sessions in surveying, perspective, and watercolor, carried out both in the village and the surrounding landscape. The program is enriched by workshops focused on historical artistic techniques and natural materials.

The experience is complemented by evening cultural events, including classical music concerts in the Abbey of Conques.
