The program, held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., covers stone deterioration mechanisms, stone material pathologies, as well as pollutant interactions and diagnostic tools. Participants address treatments for these pathologies, including mechanisms, effects, and on-site tests, with an evaluation of treatment products. Specific techniques are also explored, such as stone material desalination and the removal of film-forming coatings, with case studies presented.

Completion of the courses “Architectural Heritage – Its Context, Professions, and Site” and “Specific Theory – Stone.”
