THE PROFESSIONAL COURSES
Professional courses for mosaicists last for three years. The school year begins toward the end of September and ends in mid-June of the following year. Class hours per week are 38 and attendance is compulsory. Enrollment in the first year is limited to a maximum of 40 students, of whom 20 places are reserved for residents of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. To be admitted to the vocational courses, one must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent qualification. One must also be at least 18 years of age and not older than 40 (this limit may be raised at the discretion of the School). For foreigners, a good knowledge of the Italian language is required.

Drawing – Color Theory (I° and II° course)
Applied Geometry (I° and II° course)
Digital Modeling (3rd course)
Basic Computer Science (I° course)
Computer Graphics (2nd and 3rd courses)
Materials Technology (I° and II° course)
History of Mosaics
Enhancement and documentation of mosaic works (3rd course)
THE MASTER’S COURSE
The advanced course on mosaic art is aimed at a limited number of students already qualified at the Friuli Mosaic School.
