This training covers the fundamentals of wooden joinery, including terminology, wood classification, historical context, and material resistance. Participants will explore traditional and historical joinery techniques, study real structures, and address specific challenges in restoration and conservation.
Wooden Frame – Joint Assemblies (2nd Cycle) – Restoration & Repair
5-day practical workshop
- Dates: November 3–7, 2025, at Centre de la Paix-Dieu
This hands-on course focuses on the restoration of old wooden frames, allowing participants to practice traditional joinery, bolted assemblies, integrating new elements in restorations, repairing damaged structures, and resin bonding techniques.
Prerequisite: Completion of the 1st Cycle training
