We’re pleased to share with our community the launch of the first-ever ECA Summer School, taking place online from 21 July to 16 August 2025. Organised by the European Crafts Association (ECA), of which Mad’in Europe is a proud member, this unique programme invites you to explore the intersection of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and creativity in the craft sector, at your own pace.
Structured around four themed weeks, the summer school will feature curated content drawn from the ECA’s work and the activities of its members — with some materials made publicly available for the very first time. Each week also includes a “Beach Reading Mosaic”, offering a thoughtful selection of readings on European crafts.
This is not a traditional school: there are no live sessions or teachers, just the opportunity to catch up or go deeper into key topics during the slower summer weeks. The programme is free and open to all.
You can join by following the ECA’s social media and website — or sign up to receive the weekly curriculum and bonus materials straight to your inbox.
