This training introduces the two bookbinding systems developed by Grégoire Vigneron during his research for the 5th Book Design and Creation Research Grant. These two assembly techniques, using only paper, are distinguished by their glue-free and thread-free design. Participants will learn the assembly principles and how these bindings work using starter kits with pre-cut pieces.
No prior knowledge of vector drawing software or computer use is required to follow the course, but such skills are necessary for those who wish to implement these techniques independently later on.
The course will be led by Grégoire Vigneron.
