A unique dual program combining paid apprenticeship and an intensive hands-on workshop, focused on traditional lime mortars and sustainable restoration techniques. Participants will contribute to the restoration of the historic Frasta School and engage in practical training, expert-led seminars, site visits, and cultural discussions. Open to 26 participants from Greece and abroad.
The word “Keretsi” means lime in the secret language of craftspeople. The project focuses on the transmission of the historical know-how of the use of lime and clay mortars in plastering and pointing applications through the completion of the corresponding works in the former school building in Frasta.
