Training in traditional fresco technique

The aim of this 2-week course is to introduce you to all the techniques that can be achieved using lime as a raw material. The emphasis is on learning the traditional fresco technique based on Renaissance canons. At the end of this course, you’ll be able to incorporate these techniques into your own personal, contemporary creative work. From raw wall to traditional fresco By the end of the course, students will be able to : * Know how to apply a lime-based primer or finish. * Know how to create a fresco, from the base coat to the finish. * Distinguish between the different styles of the Renaissance period and acquire a method for producing frescoes. Target group – Anyone responsible for carrying out plastering, painting and decorative effects on walls, in compliance with procedures and operating methods; anyone wishing to learn fresco techniques.
